Expandi’s Business plan was listed at $99 per month, or $79 per month billed annually, when expandi.io/pricing/ was checked on 22 September 2026, and that plan covers one LinkedIn account. Past ten accounts you move to a custom-priced Agency plan. So the real decision between Expandi alternatives is arithmetic: what does LinkedIn account number two, five or eleven cost you?
Disclosure first. HypeLab makes Campaigns, a LinkedIn outreach automation product that competes with every tool named here, so this is not a neutral review site. What we can do instead is show the work. Every competitor figure below was read off that vendor’s own page on 22 September 2026 and cited with the date, and where a page did not state something plainly, this piece says so rather than guessing.
What is Expandi, and what does the Expandi LinkedIn automation tool do?
Expandi is cloud-based LinkedIn outreach automation software. It runs on the vendor’s infrastructure rather than inside your browser, so campaigns keep going when your laptop is closed. Per expandi.io, retrieved 22 September 2026, each connected account gets a “dedicated country-based IP per account, automatic warm-up, fine-tuned daily limit ranges”.
The campaign machinery is what buyers actually compare. Expandi’s site describes “11 campaign types” and a Smart Sequences builder offering “9 actions & 8 conditions” in a drag-and-drop interface, with branches that “adapt to accepts, replies and engagement in real time”. Outreach runs across LinkedIn connection requests, InMail and email, with A/B testing, webhooks and CRM integrations. Sales Navigator is recommended but not required.
Strip the branding off and that is the standard shape of the whole category. Import a contact list. Build a step sequence: profile visit, connection request, wait, message, follow up. Set daily limits and a schedule. Watch reply rates in a dashboard. Feature parity between the serious tools here is closer than their marketing pages suggest. Pricing and seat structure are where they genuinely diverge, which is what this comparison is built around.
What does Expandi cost, and what does a seat mean?
From expandi.io/pricing/ on 22 September 2026:
- Business: “$99” per month, or “$79” per month billed annually, described on the page as “20% Off” and elsewhere as two months free. Covers one LinkedIn account. Includes unlimited campaigns with prioritisation, multichannel outreach, campaign statistics, a centralized dashboard and a blacklist feature.
- Agency: “Custom” pricing at “+10 Seats”, with the note “The more accounts you take the more you save”. Adds white-label, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, roles and permissions, and centralized campaign management.
- Trial: the page states “Start your 7-day Free trial today”.
One gap is worth naming rather than papering over. The Expandi pricing page does not define “seat” outside the Agency tier, and publishes no figure at all for two to nine accounts. If you run four client accounts, the page will not tell you your bill. You have to ask. That is a point about how much you can budget from public information, not a criticism of the product.
How do Expandi alternatives compare on price, seats and setup?
Every figure below was retrieved from that vendor’s own pricing page on 22 September 2026. Prices change, so check the source before you sign anything.
| Tool | Setup model | Lowest published monthly price | LinkedIn accounts at that price | Structure past one account | Annual discount |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Expandi | Cloud-based, no extension | $99/mo (Business) | 1 | Not published between 2 and 9; “Custom” Agency plan at “+10 Seats” | “20% Off”, $79/mo |
| Dripify | Cloud-based | $59/user/mo (Basic) | 1 user | Per user at every tier: Basic $59, Pro $79, Advanced $99 | 35% off, $39/$59/$79 |
| HeyReach | Cloud-based | $79/mo per sender (Growth) | 1 sender | Per sender on Growth; Agency $999/mo for 25 senders, scaling to 50 | 20% off, $63/sender/mo |
| Waalaxy | Web app plus Chrome extension | EUR 19/user/mo (Pro) | 1 user | Per user: Pro EUR 19, Advanced EUR 49, Business EUR 69 | “Yearly, -50%” |
| HypeLab Campaigns | Cloud-based, no extension | $99/mo (Standard) | 1 | Teams $149/mo covers 3 accounts; Teams Booster add-on for more, price not published | 20% off |
Waalaxy is priced in euros on its own page and has not been converted here, because a converted figure is a number no vendor ever quoted. HeyReach’s Growth tier is shown as “$79 /mo – sender” with a quantity stepper, a per-account rate rather than a bundle.
Read that as a cost curve, not a league table. At exactly one LinkedIn account, Waalaxy Pro at EUR 19 is the cheapest published entry point, Dripify Basic at $59 the cheapest dollar-denominated one, and Expandi and HypeLab Standard land together at $99. The order changes once the account count rises.
Expandi vs Dripify: what actually separates them?
Dripify’s pricing page on 22 September 2026 listed Basic at “$59/user/month”, Pro at “$79/user/month” and Advanced at “$99/user/month”, each with 35% off when billed annually, plus a custom Enterprise tier. Every tier is explicitly per user. Dripify describes itself as cloud-based.
The feature gating differs in a way that matters at the bottom of the range. Dripify Basic includes “1 drip campaign” and limited daily quotas. Unlimited campaigns arrive at Pro, $79/user/month, with a dedicated inbox, CSV export and webhooks. Multi-team management, step analytics and A/B testing arrive at Advanced, $99/user/month. Expandi’s single $99 Business tier includes unlimited campaigns from day one.
So, honestly: one operator running a single sequence at a time pays less on Dripify Basic at $59 than on anything Expandi publishes. One operator wanting several campaigns at once is choosing between Dripify Pro at $79 and Expandi Business at $99, and the question is whether Expandi’s sequence conditions and per-account dedicated IP are worth $20 a month. A five-person team gets a number it can multiply from Dripify, $295 a month at Basic list price, and a phone call from Expandi. We have gone tier by tier on the other side of this in how Dripify’s plans price out in practice.
What happens to the bill when an agency goes past three LinkedIn accounts?
This is where per-seat pricing stops being a rounding error. Suppose an agency runs eleven client LinkedIn accounts, a normal size for a small social or SDR shop.
On HeyReach’s published Growth rate of $79 per sender per month, eleven senders is $869 a month at list. Its Agency plan is listed at “$999/mo” for “25 senders”. The crossover lands at thirteen: thirteen Growth seats is $1,027, more than the $999 plan that covers twenty-five. An agency at eleven accounts is two clients away from a tier where the next account is effectively free, and at twenty-five it is paying roughly $40 per account instead of $79.
On Dripify’s published per-user rates, eleven users is $649 a month at Basic, $869 at Pro and $1,089 at Advanced, before the 35% annual discount.
On Expandi’s published pricing, eleven accounts is above the “+10 Seats” threshold, so it falls into the Custom Agency tier and there is no public number to put here. That is the honest answer rather than an estimate.
HypeLab’s own published pricing: Free at $0, Standard at $99 a month for one LinkedIn account, Teams at $149 a month for three. Annual billing is 20% off. Billing is credit based, one credit per action regardless of type. A Teams Booster add-on exists for agencies past three accounts, but its price is not published, so no figure for it appears here either.
Two things follow. The tool that is cheapest at one account is rarely cheapest at ten, so compare at the account count you expect in twelve months rather than the one you have today. And bundled-seat pricing produces a very different curve from per-seat pricing, so the decision usually comes down to which curve your client roster sits on. Both points get more room in our breakdown of what LinkedIn automation really costs and our notes on running outreach across several client accounts.
Where does HypeLab Campaigns fit, and where is it the wrong buy?
HypeLab Campaigns shipped on 3 June 2026. It does contact import, a sequence builder, connection requests, follow-ups, profile visits, scheduling with daily limits, and campaign monitoring. It is cloud-based with no Chrome extension to install.
It is a younger product than Expandi or Dripify, and there are buyers we are plainly not the right answer for. If you need eleven distinct campaign templates, branching logic with the depth Expandi publishes, white-label client reporting under your own domain, or a named Customer Success Manager on the account, Expandi’s Agency tier or HeyReach’s Agency plan is the better purchase, and we would say so on a call. HypeLab’s Teams plan competes hardest at the small end, where you run one to three client accounts and per-seat pricing is eating the whole tooling budget.
What none of these tools, including ours, can promise you
LinkedIn’s Help Center page titled “Prohibited software and extensions”, retrieved 22 September 2026, states that LinkedIn does “not permit the use of any third party software, including ‘crawlers’, bots, browser plug-ins, or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn’s website”, and that members who violate those terms risk having “their accounts restricted or shut down”.
That language applies to this entire product category, HypeLab included. No vendor on this page, ours among them, can promise you LinkedIn compliance, approval, or any particular account outcome. Read LinkedIn’s page and User Agreement yourself before buying any tool here, and be wary of a vendor whose marketing tells you the question is settled.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Expandi cost per month? Expandi’s pricing page listed the Business plan at $99 per month, or $79 per month billed annually, when checked on 22 September 2026, covering one LinkedIn account. The Agency plan is listed as custom-priced at “+10 Seats”, and the page advertises a 7-day free trial.
Is Expandi a Chrome extension? No. Expandi’s site describes it as cloud-based software running on the vendor’s infrastructure rather than as a browser extension, with a dedicated country-based IP per connected account, checked 22 September 2026. Of the tools compared here, Waalaxy is the one whose site presents both a web app and a Chrome extension component.
Expandi vs Dripify: which is cheaper? At one account, Dripify. Dripify Basic was listed at $59 per user per month on 22 September 2026 against Expandi Business at $99, and at Dripify’s Advanced tier the two meet at $99. Above ten accounts no comparison is possible from public data, because Expandi’s Agency pricing is custom-quoted.
Does anyone publish agency pricing openly? HeyReach does. Its Agency plan was listed at $999 per month for 25 senders on 22 September 2026, scaling to 50. Expandi’s agency tier is custom-quoted. HypeLab publishes Teams at $149 per month for three accounts, though the Teams Booster add-on price is not published.
Work out your own seat maths before you switch
Put your real account count into the cost curve in the table above and see which tool it actually favours at that number. If your answer is two or three LinkedIn accounts, HypeLab’s Teams plan at $149 a month was priced for exactly that range. Start on the Free plan, connect one account, run one sequence from import to reply, and compare the result against what you pay now before moving any budget.
